Hydrotherapy at Equine Spa

For years, Hydrotherapy has been used to treat many health conditions in humans and animals. This non-invasive treatment has been shown to encourage fast and long term healing particularly in horses. At Equine Spa we ensure successful healing in our equine patients thanks to our extensive facilities, professional expertise and after care service.

The Spa

We have installed one of the world's most advanced Equine Therapeutic Spa systems to harness the power of this medication free therapy. The healing reputation of the Spa comes from a powerful combination of cold water (between 2 and 4 degrees centigrade), aeration (which acts as a massaging element), salt (always known for healing properties and acting as a poultice) and a variable depth capability for accurate treatment.

Cure and prevention

Together with our local veterinary team, we are able to scan affected areas before and after treatment to monitor progress and demonstrate success. With our indoor walker and all weather outdoor arena facilities, horses have the opportunity to exercise as part of their regime. We also use only high quality feed and bedding to ensure the in-patient stay is both efficient and effective.
